More than 30 strangers packed into Navy veteran and Amarillo resident Christopher Bradley’s home last weekend, and, by the time they left, they felt like family.
Volunteers spent hours unloading a truck, building furniture and decorating the home with items shipped from Furnishing Hope, a nonprofit based in California that helps wounded veterans transition from hospital care to civilian life.
