HD Supply Facilities Maintenance is committed to finding ways we can use our resources to build our communities and support our troops. We recently donated soft goods (including more than $83,000 worth of towels, sheets, pillows, and bath mats) to Furnishing Hope to be used in home installations and delivered to wounded warriors through other nonprofit organizations including the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Trials, Orange County Stand Down, Veterans First, and Warriors Built.

HD Supply and Furnishing Hope recognize that many of our wounded veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan face a difficult transition back to civilian life. In addition to debilitating health conditions, they can experience financial stress and substandard housing conditions. Some leave the hospital to live in empty houses without furniture or other comforts. Their children may lack beds or the basic amenities that make a house a home.
